Cryptocurrency: Japanese film studio Noma has announced work on three feature films in the crypto world. The studio says that all these films will be based on important information received from experts related to the crypto world. The first theatrical feature film titled ‘The Rhetoric Star’ is currently in the pre-production phase and will be released in 2024.

Noma founder Taicho said in a statement that this series of three feature films aims to educate people about crypto through creative storytelling. “The Rhetoric Star” will be led and produced by Taiko Ito himself.

As Cointelegraph reports, Itô believes that The Rhetoric Star movie will become an entirely new way for audiences to learn about crypto. The founder of Noma proudly stated that the team is working with Bitcoin experts and award-winning sound designer Sefi Carmel. Japanese animator Haruna Gohzu, who has worked in popular anime such as Pokémon, Fairy Tail, and Demon Slayer, will play the lead role in the animation of the films.

The second film in the series is titled ‘Opus’, which is said to be an animated serial film. The film will be a serialized animated film that will show the production process of The Rhetoric Star and will be released in one-minute-long chunks every week until the release of the first film in the series.

The series of films is also produced by Mai Fujimoto, CEO of Tokyo-based blockchain firm Gracone, and Ryo Nakatsuji, an executive at Japanese publisher CoinPost.

In April, Bored Ape Yacht Club, the popular non-fungible token (NFT) project, announced its own film series, which will be produced by Coinbase, one of the world’s largest crypto exchanges. BAYC creator Yuga Labs partnered with Coinbase to produce a series of three animated short films, including the film series ‘The Degen Trilogy’.
