Amazon has unveiled new artificial intelligence capabilities for Alexa, geared toward making the voice assistant extra conversational in your house. Alexa shall be “extra pure and extra expressive,” Amazon said during its annual product launch event Thursday.

Tapping tech developments in neural text-to-speech, Amazon stated it is utilizing AI to make Alexa’s responses higher suited to how precise human dialog happens. This consists of multisensory synthetic intelligence, or the flexibility for a number of folks to be in dialog with the voice assistant.
