iQoo 3 Should you consider iQOO smartphone as your next purchase? let’s find out.

Some time ago iQOO, a sub-brand of Vivo, launched 5G smartphone iQOO3 with Snapdragon 865 SoC, 55W superfast charge, quad-camera setup with 48MP + 13MP (Telephoto-2020 Digital ZOOM) + 13MP (wide angle) + 2MP (bokeh) included. ).

You’ll also get a 16-megapixel shooter for selfies and video calls. iQOO 3 4G comes with a price tag of Rs 36,999 for 8GB RAM + 128GB internal storage and Rs 39,999 for 12GB RAM + 256GB internal storage.

The IQOO 3 5G smartphone comes with a price tag of Rs 44,999. So, should you buy it? let’s find out.

With regular usage, you can get about a day and a half of battery backup without any problems. In our charging test, where we used a bundled 55W adapter and proprietary cable, we were able to charge 100% in 50 minutes.

Also, a five-minute short charge can give you 15 percent of the battery which is impressive.

The IQOO 3 comes with an under-display optical fingerprint reader and face biometric identification solution. Both are quick and reliable. Face unlock works easily even in low light.

Smartphone can handle any game easily. While playing PUBG Mobile, we did not notice any lag or stutter. Gaming triggers help in gameplay.

iQoo 3: Mixed Bag

The smartphone looks great, but does not show an entirely new design compared to other smartphones in the market. It is available in Volcano Orange, Quantum Silver and Tornado Black color options.

The phone has a glossy back panel and is quite slippery, which is why it would make sense to use the case.

The IQOO 3 5G features a 6.44-inch Super AMOLED display that supports a 60Hz refresh rate, and many people who are into gaming may not like it, but for all other practical purposes, the screen is vibrant and punchy .

The brightness offered by the smartphone is the best in its price segment.

The IQoo 3 has a quad-camera module at the rear. It was quick to focus, and the AI was more or less on target to detect the scene. In daylight, the snakes were decent, but the color tone was slightly off, and the grains were visible upon zooming.

If you want to detect wide-angle cameras, be prepared for image quality and distortion around the edges. The telephoto camera performs 2x optical zoom which works as expected.

Portrait shots with the primary camera were good, and the Bokeh effect seemed natural. The wide-angle camera takes on macro shots as well as the iQoo 3. The macro shots came out with really good detail.

Low-light camera performance was average and lacked detail. Switching to night mode only made the snap a bit brighter, showing slightly better detail. Selfies taken with the IQ3 were excellent, especially outdoors.

One thing I did not like was that beautification was added by default.

The video recording tops out at 4K 60fps and 1080p 60fps for the primary camera for the selfie shooter. In broad daylight, we saw a slight shimmering effect in the video. The low light video was just decent.

iQoo 3: Mrs.

IQOO 3 results loaded with iQOO UI based on Android 10, which looks like the latest version of Vivo’s FuntechOS. Most flagship smartphones suffer from the same issues – high specs and low on software optimization.

iQOO is no different. The UI needs to be more refined for smooth operation and there should be redundant notifications. Even preloaded apps should be minimal if they cannot be avoided.

If you are planning to buy iQOO 3 then this can be a good option if you are ready to compromise a bit on camera performance. Said that it is commendable for a new sub-brand to come out with a fully loaded smartphone.
