Delhi Weather: After heavy rain, the process of drizzling continues, the weather became pleasant in NCR

The weather has turned pleasant in Delhi-NCR due to rain late on Thursday. For a long time, the process of drizzle with light winds is going on in many areas of Delhi NCR. Due to the continuous night rain for two days, the temperature has dropped and people felt relief from the heat. Yesterday morning there was strong sunshine, but today the atmosphere is romantic in the drizzling rain.

According to Rajendra Jenamani, senior scientist of the Meteorological Department, there was no heat wave at any place in the country on Thursday. In such a situation, it can be said that Lu has returned. According to Jenamani, the heat wave started in North-West India on June 3, while Northeast India witnessed the heat wave from June 10, which ended on June 15. However, there is no heat wave for the next five days.

While issuing a yellow alert for Thursday, the Meteorological Department had expressed the possibility of rain, but on the contrary, it was sunny throughout the day and people were troubled by the sultry heat. However, people took a respite from the scorching heat of the air due to no heat wave.

The maximum temperature was 40.2 degrees Celsius above normal and the minimum temperature was four below normal at 23.8 degrees Celsius. The humidity level in the air was recorded in the range of 36 to 84 percent. Mungeshpur on the outskirts of Delhi recorded 42.5 degrees Celsius mercury. Apart from this, mercury was 42.1 in Najafgarh and 40.9 degrees Celsius in Zafarpur.

According to the Meteorological Department, there is a possibility of heavy rain with a wind speed of 30 to 40 kilometers per hour in the next 24 hours. The department has issued an orange alert regarding this. In such a situation, there is a possibility of rain till afternoon. With the decrease in maximum temperature, it can be recorded up to 37 and minimum temperature up to 26 degrees Celsius. The department has forecast that it will be cloudy for the next five days and the rain will continue. For this, the department has issued a yellow alert.

It will be cloudy throughout the day and winds will blow at a speed of 30 to 40 kilometers per hour. The department’s orange alert is on. Heavy rain is likely.
