How would you like to play with a little IRL Mario Kart course in your own house?
Created with Velan Studios, Mario Kart Live: Home Circuit is a fun-looking new AR-like game announced by Nintendo in its big video presentation on Thursday.
In the game, you can use a Nintendo Switch or Nintendo Switch Lite system to race against opponents using a real (and pretty cute) remote-controlled car with Mario or Luigi at the wheel. You place little gates throughout your house to make a custom track that appears on your Switch screen too, and the game will see your player responding to item boosts and hits within the race in the game, which will be replicated by the RC car in your house. And Nintendo says you’ll be able to play in local multiplayer mode, however that works…
Mario Kart Live: Home Circuit launches on Oct. 16 and will cost $99.99.
