Nokia 5.3 Gets Android 11 Update:  Nokia 5.3 has a quad rear camera setup, and a 4,000mAh lithium battery.

Nokia 5.3 users in selected countries, including India, have begun receiving the Android 11 update. Brand-licensee HMD Global announced that rollout began today.

Although it was initially released with Android 10, Nokia stated that it would soon be updated to Android 11. However, the most recent stable build of Android 11 was released in September 2020.

Android 12 is still not far away. The global launch of the phone was in March last year, while India’s launch was in August.

On the Nokia community forum, a staff member announced that the Android 11 update has begun rolling out in selected regions. This Android 11 update for Nokia phones is being released in waves, and the first wave covers 13 countries including India.

The complete list includes Cambodia, Hong Kong and India, Indonesia. Macau. Malaysia. Myanmar. Nepal. Sri Lanka. Switzerland. Taiwan.

According to the company, 30 percent of these areas will get the Android 11 update right away and 50 percent by August 5. All these markets will receive the update by August 6.

The Android 11 update for Nokia 5.3 is now available with version V2.210. According to the screenshots that were shared by Twitter users, it comes with version V2.210. It’s 1.67GB in size and updates the phone to the June 2021 Android security patches.

This update includes changes to notifications and the ability to grant one-time permissions for apps.

Nokia 5.3 has a 6.55-inch HD+ display (720×1,600 pixels) with a 20/9 aspect ratio. The Snapdragon 665 SoC is paired with 6GB RAM and an Octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 665 SoC.

The Nokia 5.3 has a quad rear camera setup for photos and videos. It includes a 13-megapixel primary sensor and a 5-megapixel secondary sensor that features an ultra-wide-angle lens. There is also a 2-megapixel depth sensor and a macro shooter.

The Nokia 5.3’s front camera has an 8-megapixel sensor. It also features a rear-mounted fingerprint scanner and a dedicated Google Assistant button. The phone has a 4,000mAh battery and supports 10W charging.
