According to the meteorologist, the area of ​​cyclonic circulation made towards western Madhya Pradesh remains till Bihar. At the same time, a trough is also passing through Bihar and passing towards Odisha.

Chances of Rain in these Districts

West Champaran, East-Champaran, Gopalganj, Sitamarhi, Sheohar, Madhubani, Darbhanga, Madhepura, Saharsa, Supaul, Araria, Kishanganj, Purnia, Katihar, Bhagalpur, Banka, Kaimur, Rohtas, Aurangabad, Jehanabad, Arwal, Gaya, including Patna, Nalanda, Nawada, Jamui, and Munger at one or two places, there is a possibility of light rain with thunder and lightning. A yellow alert has been issued by the Meteorological Department for these districts.

Warning for these districts till May 15

In view of the seasonal effect, warnings have been issued for West Champaran, East-Champaran, Gopalganj, Sitamarhi, Sheohar, Madhubani, Darbhanga, Madhepura, Saharsa, Supaul, Araria, Kishanganj, Purnia, Katihar, Bhagalpur and Banka till May 15. Thunderstorm accompanied by lightning is likely at one or two places in these districts.

Patna’s mercury came two degrees below normal

According to the Meteorological Center, Patna recorded 35.6 degrees Celsius on Thursday with the temperature being two notches below normal. At the same time, the areas around the state including Patna remained partly cloudy. Partly rain was recorded in the morning. The weather remained pleasant in the morning after heavy rain in the late night. However, as the day progressed, it became humid again.

Patna’s Bikram receives maximum rain

Patna district’s Bikram received the heaviest rainfall across the state, which recorded 80.6 mm of rain late in the night. Wherein Patna recorded 16.4 mm, Bhojpur’s Sandesh 40 mm, Tarari 32.4 mm, Koilwar 23.6 mm, Nalanda’s Biharsharif 21.2 mm, Charpokhari 18.6 mm during the last 24 hours. The weather patterns are likely to remain the same in the state for the next two days.
