Realme Book Slim with 11th Gen Intel Launched in India

Realme Book Slim, the first-ever laptop model by the company, was launched in India on Wednesday, August 18. It features a 2K screen and is powered by 11th Gen Intel Core processors. Realme Book Slim is available in two color options.

It has narrow bezels that allow for a greater screen-to-body ratio (90 percent) and comes in two different colors. Realme claims the laptop can handle games like Overwatch, League of Legends, and Shadow of the Tomb Raider. It features the latest connectivity options, including Thunderbolt 4 and Wi-Fi 6.

The Realme Book Slim price has been fixed at Rs. 46,999 for the Intel Core i3, 8GB RAM+ 256GB storage configuration. Rs. 59,999 for Intel Core i3, 8GB RAM + 256GB storage configuration and Rs. Realme offers the base variant for Rs.

Realme is offering the base variant at Rs. 44,999 and 512GB storage model for Rs. 56,999 Available in Real Blue or Real Grey colors, the laptop will go on sale August 30. The laptop will be available at Flipkart,, and other leading retailers.

Specifications for Realme Book Slim

The Realme Book Slim runs Windows 10 (free upgrade from Windows 11) and has a 14-inch IPS screen with a 2K resolution (2,160×1,440 pixels), 100 percent sRGB color gamut, and 3:2 aspect ratio. It is claimed to be 33 percent brighter than typical laptops with 400 nits peak brightness.

The bezels are 5.3mm thick on the sides and 8.45mm at the top. Realme claims the screen-to-body ratio has increased to 90 percent due to the thinner bezel design. This is more than the Apple MacBook Air’s 82 percent screen.

The Realme Book Slim’s underside features an Intel Core i5-1135G7 11th-Gen CPU and 8GB of LPDDR4x RAM. There’s also a maximum of 512GB PCIe SSD storage. The laptop also features a dual-fan Storm Cooling thermal management system with two copper pipes that disperse heat.

Realme has preloaded PC Connect, a feature that allows users to connect their smartphone to the Realme Book Slim. This allows them to access the Realme Book Slim’s screen from their laptop. You can also drag and drop files directly onto the laptop’s screen to speed up file transfers.

Smart application integration allows PC Connect to recognize file types on most phones and allows you to access them seamlessly on your laptop.

The Realme Book Slim has a backlit keyboard that features a 3-position backlight adjustment, a 1.3mm key travel, and a backlit keyboard. The touchpad supports multitouch gestures as well as Microsoft’s PTP precision touch technology. A dual-function fingerprint-power button is also available.

The Realme Book Slim has two Harman speakers, which are said to provide an immersive surround sound experience. DTS audio technology is also included in the speakers. Two microphones are built into the laptop using artificial intelligence (AI)-backed algorithms and pre-processing technology to cancel noise during video conferences.

The Realme Book Slim offers connectivity options such as Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth and a USB 3.2 Type-C port. There is also a Thunderbolt 4 port. However, the Intel Core i3 base model doesn’t have a Thunderbolt 4 port, but instead has a regular USB Type C port. It packs a 54Wh lithium-ion battery that can last up to 11 hours on one charge.

The laptop supports 65W Superfast Charge, which is said to be capable of charging half the battery within 30 minutes. It also supports 30W Dart Charge technology. This means you can charge your Realme smartphone or any compatible device using the Realme Book Slim adapter.

Realme Book Slim features an aluminum-alloy unibody design with a mirrored logo. The laptop measures 15.5mm thick, weighs 1.38 kgs, and is also lightweight.
