Realme GT Master Edition: Realme GT Master Edition offers a new approach to master editions and a new processor. Realme often launches Master Edition versions of existing smartphones with a unique design that makes them stand out.
Realme X, the first smartphone to receive this treatment, was launched in Onion and Garlic versions. Realme did the same with its X3, also available in Concrete and Red Brick finishes.
The company is now doing something new with the Realme GT series. The Realme GT (First Impressions), along with the Realme GT Master Edition, is also available. While the design is important, it is more affordable and has different specifications.
Naoto Fukasawa (the same designer who designed the Realme GT Master Edition smartphone) has conceptualized the Realme GT Master Edition. The design of this smartphone was inspired by a suitcase, which represents travel. Large ridges make it easy to hold and look great.
Although the back panel appears tough, it is soft and leather-like. Realme claims this texture is made from vegan leather. It is actually stretched over a back panel of polycarbonate. The phone is not too heavy and has a suitcase-like appearance. Voyager Grey is the finish.
The GT Master Edition will be available in Luna White or Cosmos Black, but without any texture or ridges. The display is a full-HD+ Super-AMOLED 6.43 inch with a 120Hz refresh rate. It also has a 360Hz touch sampling rate. This should keep gamers happy. It is protected by thin bezels and features an integrated fingerprint scanner.

GT Master Edition has a single speaker at its bottom. The GT Master Edition also features a 3.5mm headset jack located near the Type-C USB port and the primary microphone. The power and volume buttons are located on the left. There is no expandable storage and a dual Nano-SIM tray.
There are three storage and RAM options available for the device. The base model comes with 6GB RAM and 128GB storage for Rs. 25999, 8GB RAM, and 128GB storage variant at Rs. 26,999, and an 8GB RAM variant and 128 GB storage variant for Rs. 29,999 This option is only available in Voyager Grey and was the one I received to review.
The GT Master Edition’s main selling point is Qualcomm’s Snapdragon778G processor. This 5G mobile platform is manufactured in 6nm and is an upgrade to the Snapdragon 768G. It can clock at 2.4Ghz. This SoC runs on the Snapdragon X53 5G Modem. It supports both mmWave as well as Sub-6GHz 5G networks.
The 4,300mAh battery can be charged with the included 65W fast-charging block. Realme also offers Dynamic RAM Expansion technology. This allows you to assign up to 5GB of internal storage as extra RAM, but it will take longer than actual RAM.
Three cameras are located at the back of the smartphone. The smartphone has a 64-megapixel primary camera and an 8-megapixel ultrawide-angle camera. There is also a macro camera of 2 megapixels. A 32-megapixel camera handles selfie duties.
Realme UI 2.0 is software that is based upon Android 11. The phone is loaded with pre-installed apps, including third-party apps like Josh, Moj, and Snapchat. It felt very snappy in my limited experience.
The Realme GT Master Edition looks solid as a contender in the mid-range. It is unique in design and features hardware that should make the Realme GT Master Edition very competitive.
These features should make it stand out among the rest. To find out how the new SoC compares to the rest, we will need to test it. Gadgets360 will be publishing our complete review soon.
