The Marvel powerful man with the eyepatch could also be coming to Disney Plus. Samuel L. Jackson will reprise his Marvel Cinematic Universe position as Nick Fury in a brand new unique sequence for Disney Plus, Variety reported on Friday. Representatives for Disney Plus and Jackson did not instantly reply to a request for remark.

Selection’s sources did not share any launch date or title data (come on — simply name it Fury, or Nick Fury, and we’re good). However the publication stated Jackson will star (duh) and Kyle Bradstreet (Mr. Robotic) will write and function government producer.

Jackson’s been enjoying Fury since Iron Man in 2008, and was final seen portraying the S.H.I.E.L.D. chief in 2019’s Spider-Man: Far From Residence (though a post-credits twist confirmed Fury taking an area trip whereas Skrull chief Talos posed because the character).

As CNET sister site ComicBook.com notes, Jackson has been steadily requested if he’ll play Fury in his personal film or sequence, and the actor has been enthusiastic in regards to the chance.

The coronavirus outbreak has postponed the next big-screen MCU movie, Black Widow, that means 2020 would be the first 12 months since 2009 with out a new Marvel movie.
