Sandhya Devanathan became the head of Meta India, will take over from January 1

Sandhya Devanathan was earlier heading the gaming vertical of the company’s Asia Pacific market and now the company has assigned her new responsibilities. Now she will take over her command from 1 January 2023.

Facebook’s parent company Meta has appointed Sandhya Devanathan as the Vice President of India. The company has given this information on Thursday. The company took this announcement after Meta India’s country head Ajit Mohan left the company and now he has joined Facebook’s rival brand Snap. Along with him, WhatsApp India Head Abhijit Bose and Meta India’s Director of Publish Policy Rajiv Agrawal left the company.

Sandhya Devanathan was earlier heading the gaming vertical of the company’s Asia Pacific market and now the company has assigned her new responsibilities. Now she will take over her command from 1 January 2023 and she will report to Dan Neary, Vice President of Asia Pacific. The company has told them that she will be a part of the Asia Pacific leadership team.

Ajit Mohan was serving since 2019 and then Sandhya came

Ajit tells Mohan that he is going to join Snapchat. Ajit Mohan took over as the Managing Director of Facebook India in January 2019. While Sandhya Devanathan joined Facebook in 2016, then worked in several other companies, and joined Meta again in April 2020.

Meta had recently fired 11,000 people.
