Snapchat says it is helped over 1 million folks register to vote

Snapchat has helped over 1 million folks register to vote in its app this 12 months, stated a Snap spokesperson on Thursday. The favored app, recognized for is disappearing messages and face filters, estimates 56% of the folks it helped register this 12 months are first-time voters and almost 65% are between the ages of 18-24.

For the 2020 election, Snap says it is created instruments to assist folks register to vote, find out about voting choices and make a plan to solid their poll.
