The Los Angeles city attorney’s office made allegations of rape against Hall and Gray on Thursday. Internet celebrities share a home with millions of followers on TickTalk and reportedly organize two parties in less than a week.

It was not immediately clear if Hall and Gray had lawyers who could speak on their behalf and attempts to reach their representatives were unsuccessful.

City Attorney Mike Feuer said he is not aware of any COVID-19 cases that have so far been connected to the August 8 and Augus 14 House parties, but a two-week period has not passed for the symptoms to appear. Los Angeles police responded to both sides, holding several hundred guests, and issued citations.

“If you have a combined 19 million followers on TikTok in the midst of a public health crisis, you should be modeling great behavior, best practices for all of us, rather than violating the law and posting videos about it,” Feuer Said during a press conference on Friday.

Hall and Gray are accused of violating the city’s epidemic health order and a party house ordinance. The fine includes one year in jail and a fine of up to $ 2,000 in fines. The August 14 party was reportedly to celebrate Hall’s 21st birthday.

Mayor Eric Garcetti last week authorized the city to shut off water and electricity in the home. “Despite many warnings, this house has turned into a nightclub in the hills,” Garcetti said.

With closed bars in the city, large house parties could become COVID-19’s “supersiders”, Garcetti said.

Garcetti’s action followed an August 3 party at a secluded house in the city where hundreds of people gathered without masks or social distinctions. The party’s shooting ended in which one woman was killed and two other people were injured.

Los Angeles County has recorded approximately 237,000 cases of COVID-19 and more than 5,700 deaths, making it the most difficult county in the state.

“It’s not just the party house affected,” Feuer said. “These individuals who attend your parties can leave parents, siblings, grandparents, co-workers, others in public (viruses).
