Because today Vi company will stop the service for 13 hours. In fact, the company has issued an alert for prepaid users, in which the company is sending a message saying that their prepaid service will be closed for 13 hours. This service will be closed on 22 January at 8 pm i.e. from today. During this, users will not be able to recharge the phone as well.
The move spells danger for Vi as its prepaid user’s number is around 224.6 million, which generates 75 percent of its total revenue. This company is already facing heavy debt. Now this decision of the company can prove to be dangerous for it.
Vi services will be closed for 13 hours
The company is informing all its prepaid users about the shutdown of telecom service through message alerts. It has been said in the company’s message that the prepaid recharge facility will be closed from 8 pm on January 22. This service will remain closed for 13 hours and will start the next day after 9.30 am on January 23.
The company has sent this message to all its prepaid users on their mobiles in both Hindi and English languages. Actually, the company wants that no user should face any problems during this time, so they are already being alerted. If you also use a prepaid number of Vodafone-Idea and your recharge is about to end, then get the recharge done today itself. Otherwise, you will be in trouble for 13 hours.
Company facing difficulties
Vi is struggling with the burden of heavy debt. The financial condition of the company has become very bad. Even the company has failed to pay its license fee. In the event of not being able to pay the license fee to the government, the company has faced the difficulty of getting the license canceled. The telecom operator had to pay Rs 780 crore as a license fee but Vodafone was able to pay only Rs 78 crore. Vodafone, which is facing difficulties, has not even started 5G service till now.
