WhatsApp has rolled out great features like self-messages and avatars to improve its platform. These have improved the user experience. Now the company is testing another special feature, which will allow users to share voice notes on status. Let us know below about this upcoming feature of WhatsApp…
WhatsApp voice notes for status
According to a report by WABetaInfo, WhatsApp has released a new update (version 220.127.116.11) for iOS beta users. Through this update, a feature named Voice Notes has been added to the beta platform. Beta users are able to share 30 seconds of voice notes on status with the help of this feature.
However, the Voice Notes feature is yet to be released to stable users. It is speculated that the company will launch this feature for all users in the coming days.
The report further states that voice notes, like photos and videos, are automatically deleted from the platform after 24 hours. The special thing is that these notes are end-to-end encrypted. This means that the chances of the voice notes being leaked are very low and cannot be downloaded.
Testing of this feature is going on
Apart from voice notes, WhatsApp is working on a feature through which group admins will be able to easily chat privately with any user in a group with more members. As of now, this feature has not been released for stable users.
For your information, let us tell you that the Message Yourself feature of WhatsApp was introduced last year. Users can use this feature as their personal diary. With its arrival, the user gets the facility to send text, video, and photos to himself.
